Begin with the photographer
A concert photograph is someone’s work, not simply a spare illustration. Look for a photographer credit and the publication or artist channel where the image appeared. Link to that presentation when you do not have permission to reproduce it.
Separate the image from the event record
A photograph can show a moment, while a dated listing identifies an announced event. Neither automatically supplies the complete story. The historical directory on this site keeps recovered titles and dates visible for that reason.
The visual language of this site
The listening-room graphics are original geometric illustrations of sound, landscape and records. They are not photographs of Babel Trio, replicas of album sleeves or evidence of a particular performance.
